Rain.
Mud.
Cold.
Happy.
Today started out normal. I went to a great Korean place, Caytre in Hoxton with some lovely Korean friends of mine. Miyi (Stella) & May. :) We had a lovely lunch and coffee. (thankyou) In the restaurant we ordered a bottle of water. The bottle is amazing, so I kept it.
And in my head, thought it was great that I did because I planned to walk back through some woodland that I walked through in the spring and saw brambles. So I knew that Blackberries would have started to grow..
So on my way home I take a look at the woodland's brambles.. LOTS OF BLACKBERRIES!!! Some not ready, in fact a lot not ready, but just as much that were!!! Soooo, I start picking and heard the loudest crack of thunder... As soon as I did. The rain began to pour. And pour.
For one of the first times in a long time I think;
"Fuck it. I'm here and it would still get me soaked walking home so I might as well stay and pick and enjoy my own company whilst no one is around in the rain and I'm happy picking."
So I did. I got wet through. Only saw a few joggers who jogged past me whilst I was head high in the brambles. Getting scratched. But most importantly having a good time. I suprised myself. Not that I was picking, or out in the rain, in fact, I don't know why I suprised myself.
Maybe it was because I could do nothing about being out in the rain. I was as far away from home as I was from any other shelter. And I didn't mind. It didn't bother me one bit that my hair was dripping into my eyes, that my glasses were hard to see through, that my shoes were wet. I did not mind. I was happy to be in rainy London picking blackberries.
Maybe for the first time I really don't mind rain?! Which is great really as I live in the rain capital of the world and it's coming into Autumn.
Okay, ta for reading my story if you got this far.. I am terrible to telling or writing stories. Here are some photos of the rain (another photo in the rain goal completed!) and a photo of me in my kitchen at the end that I sent to Marco before I had a bath with Olbas Oil and Tea Tree, oh yeah.. I have had a cold for the past week too!!

I can't wait to eat them all!! (and go get more!)
My next post will be about the Cotton plants I am growing!!!!!!!!! Oh wow, I know.
