Massive Crafty Mish!

O_o I have been feeling quite Go Go Go! recently..
I made a little lantern!Just with a glass jar and some glass paints.. This was just a spur of the moment thing, something nice to put out on the window sill in the evenings.. Although right now I am practicing it out in the living room!

I made a skirt too!
I made this yesterday out of one of my boyfriend Marco's shirts which was too big for him.. I love it! :) I kept some of the bottom pocket detail at the top just for aesthetic reasons, and replaced the top button with a massive black opaly type one.. I am now on the hunt for 3 nice buttons to replace the bottom ones.. None in my button box quite look right, including some pear ones I have stored.. Maybe save them for another skirt!

And a present I made! Brooch Flower *

I made this brooch as a little birthday present for my best friend Becci's 21st.. Crochet flowers, I looked at a few patterns and then improvised and ended up getting confused with it a few times, but they have turned out alright! My first flowers I have made and my first brooch! I sewed on the brooch clip at the back along with the button, which was from a pair of trousers I had by One Tea Spoon, I loved the button and thought Becci would too! She loves Alice In Wonderland, so it's kinda in keeping with the whole Tea Party thing! :)

Soo. I have been asked to exhibit at The Bowery in Oct-Dec in Leeds this year and am currently working on some new work to put up there.. This photo below is not what I am going to be putting up, but I love it. I took them with my Diana+ and then photographed the negs to upload them as I havn't found anywhere local to print them yet! Uni is great for these things! My Flickr account, in case anyone is reading.. << I also made my sister a red beret! But she has not taken a photo of her wearing it yet! So that will be coming as soon as I can get her to! It's my first time following a crochet pattern and my first hat! More soon!
